Samsung, AT&T unveil SGH-a737

AT&T together with Samsung Telecommunications America has announced the availability of the Samsung SGH-a737, which is an ultra-thin and lightweight sliding phone with excellent multimedia and entertainment features.

The sliding design of Samsung’s latest offering allows for a larger screen, which is just perfect for browsing, reviewing photos and Video Share calling.

The Samsung SGH-a737 mobile phone offers the best AT&T features and services that include:

  • Video Share
  • AT&T Mobile Music
  • stereo Bluetooth 2.0
  • 1.3 mega pixel with video record
  • External memory microSD cards up to 4GB
  • Advanced messaging options
  • Since the Samsung SGH-a737 cell phone supports AT&T’s Video Share service, users will be able to share one-way live video while participating in a voice call. Users will also be able to send messages to friends and families in any way they wish by choosing either text messaging, mobile email, AOL, Yahoo and Windows Live Instant Messaging.

    Connectivity features for the SGH-a737 phone include 3G connectivity to AT&T’s BroadbandConnect network. Besides, AT&T’s EDGE network is available in over 13,000 US cities and towns.

    The services available with the SGH-a737 handset do not end here, for AT&T customers will also be able to use Napster and eMusic to load music on to their phones.

    The Samsung-AT&T SGH-a737 mobile phone which is available in four color combinations of black/orange, black, blue, black/red and black/lime carries a price tag of $49.99 after a two-year contract activation agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate.
