‘Le Fleur’ Collection of Mobile Phones announced by Samsung
Samsung has announced a collection of phones designed especially for women called the ‘Le Fleur’ collection. Keeping with the theme, all the phones in the ‘Le Fleur’ phone collection have flowery patterns. Samsung’s latest ‘Le Fleur’ collection is similar to the Nokia L’Amour collection that was released a while ago, but the designs are totally different.
The ‘Le Fleur’ mobile collection comprises of the E420, E500 and the E570 phones. All the phones in the Samsung ‘Le Fleur’ womens phone collection are clamshells.
The E420 phone has patterns on the top which light up when the phone rings. The Samsung E420 has a VGA (640×480) camera, a 1-inch 96×96 and a 2-inch 128×160 pixels display, both of which are 65k color OLED displays. The Samsung E420 does not have Bluetooth and EDGE support. The internal memory of the E420 is limited to just 2MB and does not sport a memory card slot. The Samsung E420 will have a retail price of Rs. 10,500.
The Samsung E500 comes with genuine leather and metal elements. The Samsung E500 phone is also a tri-band, GSM/GPRS/EDGE handset. It has a 1.7-inch 262k color TFT display and an external 80×64 64k OLED display. The Samsung E500 sports a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera and has 60MB of shared internal memory. Besides it also has Bluetooth and USB support. The Samsung E500 will have a price estimated at around Rs. 15,000.
The Le Fleur mobile phone series by Samsung will be available this November 2006.
