Nokia has introduced the Nokia N80 in India, which is the latest addition to its Nseries multimedia devices in the country. Nokia N80 is a high-end convergence device meant for people who want a mix of entertainment as well as productivity features.

The Nokia N80 has an Internet browser with a special feature to optimize the user’s mobile browsing experience. The small, but stylish Nokia N80 is Wi-Fi enabled and also features a 3Mega Pixel camera, with an integrated flash, 20x digital zoom, a video and Mp3 player.

The new Internet browser has a special feature known as Minimap, which is a guide to view the entire Web page in a small size and it also offers advanced navigation functionality, thus allowing a better visual experience on the Internet.

The Nokia N80 offers an excellent mobile photography experience, which enables users to capture and share their moments instantly! Nokia’s N80 also offers a high definition display with 90% more pixels than the QVGA display, which is commonly used in smartphones and digital music players.

Nokia N80 weighs 134 grams and is based on the S60 smartphone platform, the 3rd Edition and Symbian OS that includes a VoIPframwork. The S60 VoIP framework allows for very flexible implementation of different VoIP flavors in Nokia S60 devices, including the N80.

Nokia N80 is the first quadband handset, which has been designed to work both on 3G and four GSM bands. The convenient, in-built browsing and fast Internet access makes it possible to send and receive e-mails at Wireless LAN (WLAN) speeds.

Besides, the Nokia N80 features Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology, which allows for a seamless home media networking experience with compatible TVs, audio systems and PCs.

Supporting a wide range of digital music formats, the Nokia N80 features a digital music player as well as stereo FM radio and support for Visual Radio, which provides listeners with a rich interactive information channel, including information on the song and artist currently playing.
