Pantech Hero EV-DO Phone for Helio Service Launched

Pantech launched the ‘Hero’ handset for the new virtual network operator Helio in the United States.
Helio virtual network is a joint venture of Korean mobile operator SK Telecom and Internet service provider EarthLink.
The Pantech Hero EV-DO is a slider-style phone with a sleek black and silver design. Pantech Hero comes with a 2MP digital camera, 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 70MB internal memory and Transflash card slot.
Pantech mentions that the Hero features a co-processor chip that can provide high-quality music and video playback.
Helio is slated for a spring launch.
