Opera Mobile 8.65 for Symbian S60 Opera Software has released the Opera Mobile 8.65 for Symbian S60, an upgrade to Opera Mobile browser for smartphones operating on the S60 platform, which include the latest Nokia E70, N73 and N93.

Opera Mobile includes new features like:

  • Improved start page that makes it easier to enter a Web address and go directly to your most frequently visited Web pages.
  • Enhanced start page that simplifies the task of entering a web address and going directly to the user’s most often visited web pages.
  • More intuitive text entering into form fields on web pages. Simply start typing as soon as the form field has the focus, with no need to click first.
  • The behavior of shortcut keys has been changed to avoid confusion when users accidentally press the wrong key. By default, Opera Mobile 8.65 has a two-key version of shortcut keys, where you press # + key. And incase you yet insist on using the shortcut keys, you can still go back to one-key mode in settings.
  • More content on the screen: With 8.65 the size of the user interface has been condensed to make more place for the web page content, enabling you to select Full Screen mode.
  • Advanced users will enjoy the “pencil key” + joystick to go Page left/right/up/down in desktop mode, or customizing the keyboard to have these as shortcut keys. Zoom in/Zoom out is now also available as shortcut keys.
  • Opera Mobile 8.65 is available here and comes with a 30-day free trial.
