Motorola, Sprint unveil Motorola C290 Mobile Phone
Motorola Inc. and Sprint have launched the Sprint PCS Phone C290 by Motorola, dedicated to consumers who want mobility without any extra cost.
The Motorola C290 mobile phone is the first Sprint PCS Vision-enabled phone from Motorola. With its large, bright display, soft-touch peripheral and slim, compact design, the Motorola C290 is apt for consumers who want a smart phone along with the conveniences of voice communication, SMS Text Messaging and Sprint PCS Vision services to help them stay connected.
Oliver Valente, senior vice president product development, Sprint Nextel said, “The C290 by Motorola is an ideal phone for consumers looking for value in their mobile device.”
Sprint PCS Vision allows customers to personalize the C290 by downloading the latest images, ringers, games and other applications.
“The entry-level Motorola C290 puts us back in the game with Sprint and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Ron Garriques, president of Mobile Devices, Motorola. “This is a great opportunity to deliver wickedly cool products to Sprint and its customers, and we’re confident that there’s much more to come through this renewed relationship.”
The Motorola C290 mobile phone is available at Sprint Stores countrywide and online at www.sprint.com for $179.99 or $29.99 after return.
