Sony Ericsson’s K750i Honoured as the ‘Camera Phone of the Year’ at PhotoFair, Mumbai

The Winner-K750i Sony Ericsson’s K750i camera phone has been conferred the title of ‘Camera Phone of the Year’ at the recently held Photofair held in Mumbai.

The K750i comes with an easy-to-use image management PC software. One can create multiple photo albums, add effects, send email with impressive images to anywhere in the world.

The panel of judges comprised of Hoshang Billimoria, Editor of Smart Photography, and Krupa Ghandhi, the Deputy Editor.

The other contenders for this category were the Nokia N70, Nokia N90, the Panasonic VS6 and the Samsung SGH-D600.

“We are extremely happy with this recognition. In fact the K750i has been a highly successful model across the world and has received international recognition in the form of the TIPA award 2005/2006 for ‘Best Imaging Device’. It is extremely satisfying to be recognized for our efforts. We will definitely carry on this success with newer products on the anvil,” said an excited Sudhin Mathur, the GM Sony Ericsson Branch Office India.

Available in India for an MRP of Rs. 17, 995, the Sony Ericsson is the only camera phone after the N90 that comprises of auto focus. It also supports digital camera functions like white balance options, flash modes, various color effects, night mode and self-timer.

    I have this phone and I like its functions and versatility. It’s a bit too heavy I suppose but then it’s worth with everything that’s in it and what it’s capable of.
