KG300 and KG200 - the ‘Dynamite Series’, launched by LG in India
LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (LGEIL) has announced the availability of the Dynamite series phones – KG300 and KG200, in India.
The LG KG300 phonefeatures a 2-megapixel camera, 262K color screen and Bluetooth. 
The phone comprises of video caller ID, call conversation recording, intelligent call, in-flight mode and FM recording.
Through the video caller ID one can capture a video or download any video clip of 60 seconds and use it as caller ID. The LG KG300 phone’s intelligent call function reads out incoming and outgoing phone numbers.
The in-flight mode on KG300 phone allows users to play MP3 songs, access games or stored data and lots more even when they do not wish to receive calls. The Dynamite KG 300 mobile phone is priced at Rs.9, 999 and comes with a stereophonic headset kit & USB Data Cable, worth Rs.1500 absolutely free.

I have purchased KG 200 LG mobile phone recently. I find there is problem of sound quality when receiving incoming call. When the loudspeaker is turned on the sound is okay, otherwise difficult to understand what the person at the other end is saying. Can anybody help me in this regard?

I own a Dynamite & its sound quality is amazing - wht more can be a proof that u can hear songs clearly standing in a busy mall.
Anish - the supporting software for video is 3GP or mpeg.
& u’ll not believe the phones are now available at a cool price..Dynamite 200 - Rs. 6490 & Dynamite 300 - Rs. 8990…
i think with all these features Nokia/Sony would cost us much more…

There is no software CD provided with this mobile(LG KG300/KG200). We can work on phone directly using its data cable and can store song, videos, pics etc easily. Yes, the phone works quite satisfactorily with external memory card. I myself have got KG300 model with 1GB memory card installed in it.

sir, plz help me out . as written in your user guide that we can click photos with power on key or right side easy access key . my easy acess key is working proprly but i m not able to click photos by power on key, at same time in option mode for camera , sound mode doesnt show “no sound mode ” which i wanted many times to click photo without clicking sound.
also i m not able to acess the music player by up navigation key as written on ur user guide.

lg phones launched in third world countries are shit.I had a lg u88o which was brought from uk and it worked for 2.5 years without any problem but my dad bought a c2500 which lost sound within 6 mo and lost screen too so Lg is not relyable it’s only cheap!

KG 200 has silent features it has 60 mb memory but can’t save more messages (sms) in inbox, very frequently it shows that message memori full, is there any way to save sms in micro SD card or is there any way to transfer / download sms in PC from mobile memory? Pl’s let me know whether it is possible or not? if it is possible so how it will be done?

Hi Mr. Adeel, this is Guddu, Dear i have tried PC suite and USB driver also but these are working for managing (copy/synchronising with PC and Ph) the phone book only, does not allow to synchronise messages.
If u want to try, u can get PC suit & driver software from LG mobile site itself, if u get some solution regarding the same matter u should not forget to blog me…

The main draw backs that made KG 200 a rubbish phone are:
* no Pc suite software for games aplication and SMS transfer
* no provision of transfering SIM data to memory card or pc
* no provision to setup new games and application
* no bluetooth and infrared

LG-Dynamite Suck’s…..!!!! In fact LG sucks….!!!! I purchased dynamite in January and it’s not working…I mean it’s does not recognise my sim card…It shows it still searching for the Network and i can’t even use any option….!!! Please never ever purchase L.G….!!! Oh yes…..I am going to file a case against L.G in consumer court….They are not even providing me the service….!!!

I friends are very impressed with my LG K300.
I have been using LG K300 since a month. Cam is the best compared to all phones. Music plays good with quality But with little less volume, but not much qualitative on head phones.
I found few problems with LG K300:
1.Battery Back up is very low, we need to charge every day (Thats sucks).
2.Head Phone jack should have been of ordinary bigger jack than provided, that wud help us to play under any amplifier or with Original Sony earphone that will give best base and quality sound.
Forget about the themes and games, people hardly use those functions.
I suggest LG phone Manufacturers to find some resolutions to bring LG K300 for the best marketing by repairing two big problems that i found out.
All the very best if you repair it or else LG Dynamite Sucks.

First of all there is no themes in this phone(KG 300) and sound is too low even in full volume and led glow is waste of charge out look syle is too good.But i cant record the video it shows many optionspls help me. Screen is too large thats good but dimension is waste. finally i give fifty fifty. its not good as well bad.

There is a configuration page in LG KG200 wherein you can change almost everything from look to sound to style. I have tried some of them, but for the complete list, refer to the manual/or search google.
To go to the configuration page type : 2945#*#
The default volume level at max (Vol 6) = 199
You can change that to a max of 255
Try your hands on other settings
If you so something an want to revert back, there is an option to restore the mobile to Original settings.
I do not say that KG200 is the best phone phone but in its category you won’t find phones with so much to give for so less a price.

LOOKWISE : Good, Black n Silver combination
LCD: Superb, 262 K Colors with 320×240 Pixel
CAMERA: Good, 2.0MP Video Recording fine,,,,BUT ONLY “2x” ZOOM (Thats Problem) and Night Mode option is poor.
VIDEO: Good. U can find clear picture with bright colors
SOUND: GOOD, through Speaker (No equalizer in Music Player to adjust sound of your choice,,),, POOR through Headphone (U have to purchase good head set)
THEME: NO THEME OPTION
GAMES: U CANT PLAY JAVA GAMES “” NO JAVA INSTALLED)
The most important thing ” NO Software for Pc Suite like nokia or Sony Ericsson”
MY QUESTION IS:

Your message was really helpfull to know the configuration page type : 2945#*# setting. I was really shocked to know about that. I tried to change all the settings, its very easy to opearte those settings to change the configuration. But i made a big mistake, I clicked on the FORMATTING option and I lost all my contracts details, my card memory, my sim memory and all files i had in my Phone memory. so be careful guys never experiment on it, like me a “FOOL”. Now my Phome Looks like a Brand New One with no data in it. hahahahah :-).
Kasbaba- Please tell me if i change my Volume to 255, will i get more volume through speakers and Headphones?

Hi all,
Can any one Please help me to get an 2.5 mm stereo Pin adapter at one end with 3.5mm stereo Jack on the other end, so that we can use Sony headphones or earphones to connect to the 3.5mm jack, coz these headphones and earphones comes with regular standard size of 3.5mm Pin. since our LG Dynamite earphone jack is only 2.5mm stereo pin we cannot assure to get the best quality headphones of other companies with this small pin.
I bet you all —– if we can get this adapter our LG Dynamite K300 and K200 will be the best of all mobile phones with the best sound quality and with great Bass and effect, (like you hear to a music in the car). one thing we need to keep in mind that we have to change the headset sound configuration to the maximum output of 220.
these sound settings can be changed by typing 2945#*# in your phone and follow up logically.
ALL THE VERY BEST! Hoping to get a posiyive response from you all.

I have bought a LG KG200 in Rs. 5750, it is too good…it has all necessary functions which is more useful for user within a minimum cost range. There is a some drawbacks but it is not so considerable like themes, messege capacity, bluetuth, infrarade.

i am a student wid limited budget ,, hardly 6000 indian rupees . i only need a phone for entertainment as i dunno require much communication ,, so for entertainment i wanted a fully-packed phone . So after reading many reviews & specs , i have found many drawbacks ,, in KG200
1) msg. storing capacity is very less , and they even can’t be transferred to pc.
2)only 10 calls in each dialled , received & missed.
3)gud battery life ,, nice standby time , but talktime is less.
4)sent msg.s are prompted to be saved & not saved automatically.
5)No bluetooth & infrared [but really how many people frquently use it ? so it is not compulsion]
6)no cd in box [ usb cable is included ] & cable works perfectly on windows 2000/;xp [ no driver required for these or else cud be dwnloaded from in.lgmobile.com]
7)no themes can be dwnloaded , no softwares available for this fone even in lg’s official website.
8)headset jack is small & headset is good but not perfect.
9)only wap browser & xhtml so u can’t view html pages and u can’t even dwnload any browser like opera mini & all ,, as theres no Java support on this mobile.
I m very disappointed to say that LG has not included Java midp2.0 on either 200 or 300 .So forget dwnloading games & applications …. but theres even another loophole ,, that in sum Kg200 or Kg300 there is support for Java ,,,, so dis is a point where Lg shud pay attention as sum people can feel bit cheated … but don’t be upset as u can upgrade ur software by taking ur phone to authorized service center as sum of them are upgrading the firmware.
Moreover dis is a very gud phone ,,,for all as entertainment is concerned ,, sum things wud have been better ,, “magar bhai itne badiya price mein aur kya bacche ki jaan loge ”
u can enjoy fm ,, wap browsing , mp3s , camera and loads more.
& still if u want bluetooth,infrared & complete browsing and java u can go for sony ericsson K510i for only rs. 5495 ! great bargain and a great possible option.
But for just 5995 indian rupees ,, Kg200 is a gre8 phone & really a DYNAMITE … if u have any problems ,, and queries

KG300/200 may not be the best of mobiles but they are a true value for money.
Sum ppl are just pure amateurs here…don’t have a clue.
There are numerous possibilities with both of these handsets via J2ME Mobile Applications. All you need is lil techy mind and few minutes to spend with PC & mobile.
I have installed mobile version of VLC player with codecs needed in my KG300. I can play any MPG AVI formats too.

KG300 is a better buy. Available in Delhi now for 7800 Rs. only.

You can find softwares for KG200/300 easily on net. All J2ME applications can be installed on these sets. Condition: You need to have latest firmware version and MIDP 2.0, else all apps may not work for you.
I posted a live link to some of the best apps sometime back but my post wan not approved by moderators.
You can search net for J2ME apps and can easily find goodies like MS Word, MS Excel, File Locker, File Explorer, Password Locker and endless games. I have all these apps in my KG300 plus few games like Street Fighter II, WWE RAW, Tokyo Drift etc.

I am from Hong Kong, I bought a KG300 at US$115 yesterday. I think it is quite good with such low price. Reasonable quality picture, movie and MP3 output, BUT it would be better to buy a better earphone…

Yes, there are negative in it, of course, every mobile has negatives of its own. One cannot get everything in one. All I need is guidance to how to connect it to the PC, how to increase the volume, how better can I utilize the features of the mobile, where do I get the softwares for this mobile ( any site plzzzzz) Does the headphones provided are really of poor quality??? You will have to take your mobile to LG Service Centre to get newest version of firmware, MIDP & Java.
Maximum application installation space available in KG300 is near 2MB. Not enough for good applications like Dictionary etc. You need to install JAR files to install apps.
For KG300 I have no problems with sound quality or pitch. Loud enough and clear. No problems with headset or sound. Tho in 200 I have found some issues related to sound.
2 MPS Video quality not good I’d say but still pictures are fairly good if EV and other settings are customized.
Unlike ‘Video Player’ if images and music files are opened directly from storage folder they would not get opened in embedded ‘Image Viewer’ or ‘Music Player’ tho can be opened as stand alone. Not good enough as common functions are missing in stand alone player. However, one you get used to its not a problem.
The biggest negative that I see in dynamite series is non-support for Symbian.
Latest price in Delhi for KG300 is below 6000 Rs. Available for 4000 at Greater Noida Factory Outlet!! MRP on box 10000 lol!

i bought the new lg300 dynamite, but i am not satisfied with the phone as compared to nokia phones. The problems and features missing are
* speaker quality is poor for ringtones. the speaker is kept at the back side of the phone so if the phone is kept down or in pocket u cannot hear in noisy places.
* No user defined message tone cannot be kept for sms u have to keep only 5 tones installed in it.
* i did not like the quality of camera. Compared same with nokia 2.0 camera . i thought it is very poor and too dark.
* no themes could be downloaded
* the battery is also not strong enough.
* flash for clicking pictures should be there as in night the pictures cannot be clicked it comes very dark.
* sms messages cannot be sent through bluetooth
* cannot install other players like real player for .rm formats.
* In card memory u have to open 1 by 1 pictures there is no slide show its time consuming.
* U cannot download screensavers or watch .gif images.
so watch out if u want these features then u better switch to other phone. but if u do not want such features then this is a nice phone with good looks and large colorful display. Hope lg company improves and install such features in other phones.

I finally bought kg300. The LCD is simply the best. The sound output from loudspeaker is loud enough to make people turn around to look at the mobile even in a noisy place. Camera is good. Everything is good about it, but there is still lot to explore. Brought on 5th Sunday. Battery is also good with quick charging. If one can reduce the brightness, can enjoy extra hours of music. Look is also good. The sound output has increased with 2945#*# setting. I am still exploring it. Will come back once I am through with all the features of this amazing mobile. CU, take care.

I have purchased LGKG300 mobile 15 days before for Rs 7450,This set is really nice with big LCD ,displaying great colours.The MP3 sound is also good ,FM can be recorded in it.512 MB card is free with it so that u can download a lot of stuff in it.The colours of the screen is really nice and much better than other mobiles,Camera is too good,Battery is not bad ,it gives backup of min. 2.5 days if u use set normally and do not use too much of multimedia applications.It is far good that it does not includes joystick which I was having in my earlier SonyEricsson mobile which gave me a lot of troble of mobile hanging and slowed the mobile.So those people who are willing to buy this set should buy it immediately without worring for contradictory reviews of it.bye

to download music to MP3 player ,no software is needed ,just connect data cable to the mobile,you will see two options
1)mass storage
2)serial port
select the “mass storage”.your mobile will be switched off automatically and in my computer you will see an extra drive.open that drive and inside it you will see “music” folder,just copy your songs from your computer to inside that folder.after copying inside u can see all the songs are copied inside your mobile .Its very easy ,try it

Hi Guys,
Recently I Found a bug in lgkg 200. When it is receiving a call then after 21 sec the calling screen disappears and the main screen comes forward and it continuously ringing during this I CAN Cancel the call but cannot attend it.
Then i thought to restore the factory settings. I did it and there were no more problems..
Do any of you faced this Problem?
If Yes then How i can regenerate it.. I want to see why it is doing so or its an issue with my cell phone?

PLEASE HELP…i have lg kg300.one day i connect it with a old computer in my colleges computer center then it shows 3 removeable disk instead of 2 the extra disk contains all my numbers,AND LIST OF INSTALLED JAVA PROGRAM I DELETED THAT THEN IN APPLICATION NO PROGRAM IS INSTALLED BUT JAVA MEMORY IS ISTILL OCCUPIED I SWITCH OFF/ON MY PHONE MANY TIMES BUT IT IS ISTILL OCCUPIED(1.2MB OUT OF 2MB).

sir, i am using lg kg 300 series mobile, i wanted to connect internet through usb, i have no usb modem drivers for internet connection to my laptop to configure my lg mobile, there is no cd given along with my mobile to configure internet, please provide me the necessary link to download proper drivers for internet connection.i have searched http://www.lgmobile.com but i could not trace my handset usb modem drivers, please help me out in this issue.

superb mobile dynamite 300 , only problem with battery backup which does not last at all.

Dear..
I know & am too sure that I used to lock my LG KG200 mobile key-pad by password but in-todays I am unable to find that password protection option for key-pad lock..
if u have any way to reach upto this option, Please revert back me at hl.vishwakarma@gmail.com

i selected the option “remove” from the memory card folder before removing the memory card from my mobile lg dynamite kg300…now after re-inserting it is not reading the memory card.kindly help

when i connect data chord where should i go 2 connect 2 comuter.
kg 200 is compatible for using net in computer through my 200.

Recently I found a problem in lgkg 300. When it is receiving a call then after few sec the calling screen disappears and the main screen comes forward and it continuously ringing during this I can Cancel the call but cannot attend it. This does not happens every time but 3/10 calls which is creating a lot of problem
Do any of you faced this Problem?
If Yes then How i can solve it . I want to see why it is doing so or its an issue with my cell phone?

in my LG KG 300 there was a big problem of battery time, full battery only covers one day,wherever i go my LG charger is with me bcz i need to recharge my mobile almost twice a day.
