Dell Vostro 3360, 3460 and 3560 Ivy Bridge laptops unveiled

After Alienware gaming laptops and a horde of other devices running the Ivy Bridge processors, the company has bounced back in the US with Dell Vostro 3360, 3460 and 3560 laptops running the third generation Intel Core processors. The former two notebooks are also compatible with the 4G LTE network speed with a little assistance from the Dell NetReady mobile broadband service.

The Vostro 3360, 3460 and 3560 come in screen configurations of 13, 14 and 15 inches, respectively and are splashed in shades of Brisbane bronze, Aberdeen silver and Lucerne red. The laptops are capable of supporting Intel Core i7 processors as well as AMD or Nvidia GPUs and up to 8GB DDR3 RAM. While the devices ship with 1366 x 768p WLED anti-glare screens, they can be optioned with full HD displays that render visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolutions.

The 13-inch laptop can be customized with additional storage of up to 500GB, whereas the other two can be expanded to as much as 750GB. Each of the Windows 7 based notebooks is integrated with Gigabit Ethernet LAN, VGA and HDMI connectors as well as a headphone jack, a card reader and USB ports. A webcam and a spill resistant keyboard have also been added to the mix.

The Dell Vostro 3360 and 3460 prices are $649 and $599, respectively and they are expected to hit store shelves on June 21. The 3560 is now available through the official company website for $599.
