The G51J 3D will be packaged with 3D Vision active-shutter glasses. The company has proclaimed the extension of this innovative technology to high-definition notebook platforms too. Nvidia teamed up with display manufacturers such as CPT, CMO, Samsung and LG to devise 120Hz 3D Vision-enabled panels for notebooks. The results are manifested in advanced displays with 2D capability as well as flicker-free 3D support.

The technology offers a combination of wireless, advanced software and wide-range emitter to deliver full stereoscopic 3D visuals to PC games . Resident Evil 5, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Borderlands, Star trek D-A-C and Batman: Arkham Asylum are listed among the 400 or more titles that work with Nvidia’s 3D intelligence.

While Asus has revealed plans to launch their G51J notebook on a global scale in early December, they have made no mention about the expected retail price for their device.
