MSI recently made public its new entrant for the laptop terrain. Boasting of a body as light as the wind, this novel MSI creation is called the Wind 12 U200 and sports a wide screen. With two seemingly opposite elements neatly wrapped as one bundle, the laptop appears to be quite a blend of performance and style.

The MSI Wind12 U200 is extremely light and boasts of an agile body. Weighing only 1.3kg, the laptop is incorporated with a 16:9 HD-ready Glittering Crystal Frameless Screen that measures 12.1 inches. The energy saving LED screen offers an HD-ready 1366×768-pixel high resolution. Powered by Intel’s latest CULV platform, the feature claims to add considerable power to the ultra-thin notebook. Maintaining its battery life at up to 6.5 hours, the energy-saving notebook offers users maximum performance in a stylish and slim computing model.

Adorning a soft and smooth exterior, the U200 has a featherweight design. Showing off a surface area smaller than that of a sheet of A4 paper, the super portable notebook should efficiently slip into the users’ handbag. The notebook’s keyboard uses MSI’s exclusive EDS (ergonomic de-stress) technology. This adds 51% of additional surface area to each key, enabling users to enjoy comfortable and smooth keystrokes.

Sporting ultra-low power consumption, the notebook is also equipped with the company’s built-in exclusive ECO smart energy solutions. These have claimed to pass the Energy Star certification and should offer an ultra-long battery life. With a 6-cell battery installed, the battery should last up to 6.5 hours.

In addition to this, the MSI Wind12 U200 is also modeled with a built-in high resolution webcam that has 1.3 million pixels. The attribute is accompanied by three new MSI-exclusive applications namely Webcam Companion, Visual Effect2, and Print Creation. With these software packages, users can look forward to face-to-face communication with their friends and relatives while also being able to edit webcam videos and photos.

The laptop’s face-recognition application should further enhance the user experience. Providing users with high-grade security protection, the feature offers unmatched personal information protection on the notebook.

As of now there is no word on the pricing or availability of the novel MSI Wind12 U200 laptop.
