Asus has launched its long-awaited U2E notebook. The 11-inch new notebook is claimed to be an ideal laptop for those who are constantly on-the-move.

The latest all-in-one leather crafted U2E notebook features a built-in DVD-RW and 3GB high-speed DDR2 memory. Besides, an energy saving back-lit LED panel, micro-DVI, VGA out, an 8-in-1 card reader, and three USB 2.0 ports would be other key features of the notebook.

Two versions of the U2E laptop will be available in the market. While the U2E-A1B version is equipped with a 32 GB Solid State Drive (SSD) and a 160GB external hard drive; the U2E-A2B will bundle a single 120GB hard drive.

The new notebook will be available online with Newegg.com, Amazon.com and Costco.com. The U2E-A1B will carry the price tag of $2699 and the U2E-A2B version will be available for $1,999.
