BenQ has expanded the Joybook R series range of notebooks with a new arrival named R45. The new notebook is powered by a 2.10 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

A 14.1-inch widescreen display, BenQ’s UltraVivid technology and an integrated 2-megapixel webcam are some of the key features of the R45.

The notebook also possesses an elegant look, thanks to the leather-like finish with special soft-touch coating. Further the R45 notebook is equipped with Nvidia GeForce 8400M G discrete graphics and also supports major WiFi standards.

WLAN and power buttons are placed in an aluminum decorative strip with a striking crimson seam.

Furthermore, the Joybook R45 notebook features an HDMI interface, speakers (1.5W x 2) with the smart noise suppression and echo cancellation along with an integrated microphone for high quality video calls and other AV applications.

BenQ has not revealed any information regarding the pricing. However the notebook will be available in April 2008 in China, Taiwan, South East Asia and Russia.
