Gateway intros New FX Line of Notebooks Along with Other Models

Gateway has expanded its FX line of new notebook models featuring P-Series and M-Series laptops along with new notebooks in the T-Series and M-Series Models. All the latest models run on Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition.

The Gateway M-6850FX, M-Series FX Edition notebooks feature a 15.4-inch display, an Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor, ATI Radeon HD 2600 graphics, 3072MB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 320GB 5400RPM SATA hard drive. Moreover, the gaming laptop also comes with a multi-format dual layer DVD-R/RW/DVD-RAM drive with LabelFlash technology for burning images and text onto a DVD or CD. It is slated to be available at Best Buy for estimated cost of $999.99.
Powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor, the 17-inch Gateway P-172X FX Edition sports NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS 512MB GDDR3, 4096MB of memory, 320GB of hard drive storage (two x 160GB RAID 0) and a slot load DVD-R/RW/DVD-RAM, along with an integrated webcam, 802.11n Wi-Fi networking, a 1920×1200 resolution display and a fingerprint reader. Users can buy the laptop directly from Gateway for the suggested price of $1,999.99.
Gateway’s P-6860FX notebook is motorized by Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 processor and works on Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition with SP1. The gaming device bundles NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS 512MB GDDR3, 3072MB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 250GB(1) 5400RPM SATA hard drive. It also carries a multi-format dual layer DVD-R/RW/DVD-RAM drive with LabelFlash technology that allows writing pictures and text onto a DVD or CD. It costs $1,349.99 and is available at Best Buy.
Besides, the company has also introduced T-Series and M-Series notebook models. In the M-Series, the Gateway M-1626 is equipped with 15.4-inch display, AMD Turion TL-60 processor and an ATI Radeon HD x1270 graphics, 4096MB of memory, a DVD-R/RW/DVD-RAM, 250GB hard drive storage and HDMI and 802.11g Wi-Fi networking. It is priced at $849.99.
Users will find a 14.1-inch display, AMD Turion 64 TL-60 with X2 Mobile Technology, ATI Radeon x1270 graphics, 3072MB of memory, 250GB of hard drive storage and a DVD-R/RW/DVD-RAM with LabelFlash Technology as well as HDMI and 802.11g Wi-Fi connection in the Gateway T-1628 notebook. You can grab the laptop from the leading retailers for $749.99.
