Dell Inspiron Mini 9

Dell has forayed into the netbook arena with the launch of its new Inspiron Mini 9 notebook. The company says that the Inspiron Mini is an affordable Internet companion that can be fine-tuned to fit users’ specific needs and deeds.

It incorporates a bright 8.9 inch glossy LED display (1024×600). Besides, it comes with a large keypad and standard built-in Wi-Fi lets users to use internet from anywhere. For the enhanced connectivity Dell has also integrated Bluetooth.

Moreover, Dell has joined hands with Box.net, which will offer online file storage to Inspiron Mini users, including a free Basic plan with 2GB of remote storage space. Users can expand this capacity up to 25GB as per their requirements.

The Inspiron Mini 9 notebook will be available in Obsidian Black or Alpine White. The netbook is available with an option of Windows XP or Ubuntu 8.04 operating system.

The laptop can be purchased from www.dell.com/mini in the U.S., Japan and select countries in Europe at price starting from $399.
