Alienware has launched the 17-inch Area-51 m17x laptop in US exclusively for PC gamers and 3D content creators. The notebook is equipped with Intel Core 2 Extreme processor, SLI-enabled Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTX GPU and a 500GB mobile hard drive. Moreover, Dual 500GB drives configured in a RAID 0 array plus a 500GB Smart Bay drive for additional storage, gives users an astounding 1.5TB capacity.

Incorporated Nvidia SLI technology with dual NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX graphics cards ensures an unrivaled mobile DirectX 10 gaming experience. Intel’s 45nm Core 2 Extreme X9000 mobile processors support maximum speed and responsiveness during gaming hours and other high-intensity tasks.

Also, the Area-51 m17x notebook features Alienware Command Center control panel, home to exclusive programs such as the AlienFX customizable lighting feature and the AlienFusion power management system.
