Sony has just released the VAIO LM notebook series, expanding their already long lineup of VAIO notebooks. The VAIO VGC-LM18 notebook from this series in particular has a unique wall-mountable design.

The Sony VAIO LM notebook has an eye-catching panel PC design similar to Sony’s BRAVIA LCD TVs. The screen size is 19-inch which is framed by a transparent bezel, which effortlessly blends into the surrounding environment.

The VAIO LM notebook can be mounted on a wall. Basically, this notebook has been designed as an entertainment hub that can double as a TV as it features an in-built TV tuner and a 2.1 channel speaker system and sub-woofers.

Besides, this notebook features a wireless keyboard, mouse and remote. Moreover, with its built-in 1.3 mega pixel camera with face tracking software, the Sony VAIO LM notebook can be used for video conferencing calls as it can deliver crisp sound quality as well.

The Sony VAIO LM notebook is powered by an Intel Core2 Duo processor T7250 (2.ooGHz) and 2GB DDR2 SDRAM besides featuring NVIDIA graphics card, providing excellent performance. Other than that, the notebook has 250GB HDD and comes pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.

Also preloaded onto the notebook is the latest VAIO Music Box software which enables users to define default channel capacity for music in advance. This allows the system to automatically select signal descriptors for sound classification into 24 channels. Another software called MOVIE Story allows users to create and edit their own videos easily.

The Sony VAIO VGC-LM18 notebook is now available at Sony stores across India for a price of Rs.1,09,900.
