Acer Aspire 4310 and 4710 Notebooks launched in India
Acer India has just announced the launch of its Aspire 4310 and Aspire 4710 series of notebooks in the Indian market. They have been launched with the aim of empowering common man with ‘complete computing technology’ at an affordable price.

The Acer Aspire 4310 and Aspire 4710 series is part of Acer’s initiative of ‘making mobile computing more affordable’ and a response to the demand for low cost and efficient Notebooks. With the Acer Aspire 4310 and Aspire 4710 series, we have once again broken all barriers without compromising on features, a first in the industry.”
Both the AS 4310 and AS 4710 series of notebooks are based on the ‘Pebble’ design. In fact, these notebooks are part of the new design notebooks from Acer whose design team worked with BMW Group DesignWorkUSA to study design trends, develop concepts and visualize new forms.
The Aspire 4310 series of notebooks runs on a Celeron M520 processor. These notebooks have a system memory of 512MB, an 80GB hard disk drive and feature a widescreen.
Plus, the AS 4310 notebook comes pre-loaded with a LINUX operating system and features a Combo drive.
The Aspire 4710 series of notebooks is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor T5500. This notebook has 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard disk drive. This notebook runs on the Linux operating system. The AS4710 notebook also has Bluetooth.
The Aspire 4710 notebook is priced at Rs.39,499 (excluding taxes and carry case). Another variant of this model is the Aspire 4710z, which runs on the Pentium dual core processor T2080 and comes packed with 1 GB RAM, an in-built camera and 160GB hard disk drive.
