Asus India organizes ‘Notebook Service Camp’ on July 29 and 30, 2006

An Asus Notebook with an Indian Flag and Map on it In an effort to offer a helping hand to consumers to maintain their notebooks better, Asus India has set-up a free ‘Notebook Service Camp’ in their Mumbai service center, which will be held for two days on July 29, and 30, 2006.

With the ‘Notebook Service Camp,’ Asus intends to communicate its position as not just a notebook vendor, but also as a technology solution provider and one of the very few global companies that not just manufactures, but is also involved in the R&D, design, marketing, sales, and service, all under one common roof.

Richard Chen, product manager, Notebook Business, Asus India, said, “Based on our belief that Indian customers are worth good performance and service for their laptops, and the belief that Asus should share our solid R&D and service capability with them, we are honored to invite all customers to bring your working laptops to our Mumbai office on July 29 and 30, 2006. Absolutely free health check-up will be provided to your laptops.”

“All brands of laptops are welcome because we believe it is customers who are using IT and should be respected, not the other way around,” Chen continued.

Sujit Chowdhury, service manager, Asus India, said, “Asus believes in not just manufacturing, but also in educating notebook users about technology and maintenance of a notebook. By this kind of an initiative, we will not just provide free service but also guide the customers about taking care of their notebook.”

Customers can directly walk in on these two days in the Andheri Service Center for free service of their notebook of any brand. The camp will offer free service and consultation.
