Panasonic develops waterproof and kick resistant Notebook, Letsnote CF-Y5

Panasonic Letsnote CF-Y5 Panasonic has launched a hard-hitting new laptop, which the electronics giant is sure can endure not only some serious kicking but also a douse of coffee.

Dubbed as “Letsnote CF-Y5,” it has a drainage system to guard from spills and a shock resistant system which can handle 220 pounds of shock.

Panasonic Letsnote CF-Y5 has a 1.5 GHz Intel L2300 Core Duo processor, a 14.1-inch 1,400 by 1,050 pixel display, up to 1 GB of RAM, 802.11a/b/g wireless networking, and 60 GB hard disk storage. The drainage system comprises of a water-resistant sheet and drainage system to protect the internal parts from damage.

Panasonic Letsnote CF-Y5 is priced at $2,300 and as for now is only available in Japan.
