Dell has introduced the new XPS M1210 notebook in India. This announcement will make Indians who desire mobility extremely happy as Dell, a well- known computer manufacture delivers nothing but uncompromised performance. The XPS M1210 notebook will definitely excite the tech-heads of India as well.

This 12 inch beauty has a body made of durable magnesium alloy frame. At just 1.98 Kg, the XPs M1210 notebook can virtually be carried everywhere you go.

With the M1210, the latest Intel Core Duo processors will be offered, there will be no Core Solo, Celeron or ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor options. It seems like Dell wants to keep the XPS line as a performance focused series, whether it’s big or small form factor. It is powered by the Intel Core Duo processors which runs at 2.16GHz. The processor is the well known T2600 which runs at a zipping 667MHz FSB

The Intel processor sports a rather large 2 MB cache and can take upto 4 GB of dual-channel 667 MHz rated ram with 512 MB being the minimum at which the base machine offers. Space is well taken care of by the 100 GB 7200 rpm drive, which is ideal for this powerful machine.

The graphics,taken care of by the Geforce Go 7400 chipset (256MB) definitely makes gaming a superb experience and takes you to another level of gaming altogether.

Dell’s XPS M1210 has a widescreen measuring around 12.1 inches. This widescreen XGA display is capable of displaying resolutions upto 1200 by 800. The only problem with this notebook could its 12.1 inch screen which can get a bit small, but since it’s a widescreen and portable, it may just be a good and fair compromise.
