Toshiba India Launches Satellite A100 / M100, Qosmio G30, TECRA M5 and Portege M500 Notebooks

Toshiba’s Computer Systems Division in association with HCL Infosystems Ltd has launched five of its latest products in India.

Toshiba’s new notebook computer line-up in India includes Satellite A100 and M100 series with Intel Core Solo Centrino Mobile technology; notebook with HD DVD-ROM drive Qosmio G30; business notebook TECRA M5 series and Portege M500.

Toshiba claims that the Qosmio G30 is the world’s first notebook AV to have the revolutionary High Definition (HD) DVD-ROM Drive. Using an on-drive optical system with single objective lens, the drive is 12.7mm high. Qosmio G30 features playback of HD DVD content and can read and write to current DVD and CD discs, which includes DVD+/-R, DL (dual-layer) and DVD-RAM.

Toshiba India said, “Intel Core Solo Centrino Mobile Technology helps Satellite A100 and M100 notebooks re-define new benchmarks of style & functionality in an reasonably priced power-packed package.”

Toshiba’s flagship business notebook line, TECRA M5 series, looks to set a new standard for business mobility by addressing the growing needs of the mobile workforce through an optimal balance of performance, reliability, security and longevity.

The Toshiba Portege M500 provides a mixture of style and portable advanced technology for both work and home use, Toshiba said.

    Dear Sir

    I am using an Toshiba A-80 (Satellite) laptop brought at Dubai.
    I purchased 2years back. Now my screen has got lines (it started with 1 and now it has 3 lines) running from top to bottom (red and green).
    I am placed in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). How can i rectify this problem. If so whom should i contact.
