The Superheroes are going online! Marvel Comics, a division of Marvel Entertainment has announced that it will soon open its comic book vault to the public with the launch of an online subscription service called Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited.

Archived by Marvel editors, Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited will offer unparalleled access to thousands of comic book titles from Marvel’s historic comic archive right from the very first issues of Amazing Spider-Man, The X-Men, Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four amongst others. Social issues will also be on offer.

Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited is expected to be very user-friendly and easy-to-navigate. More importantly, each digital comic book will be offered in the highest resolution every available.

Other features of Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited include innovative viewing options, user-friendly search and recommendation features and personalized reading list tools.

The best part is that both PC as well as Mac users will be able to access this online digital archive of Marvel comics. The service is available at Marvel.com/digitalcomics for subscription rates as low as $4.99 per month.

Moreover, for a limited period of time, Marvel will offer audiences the opportunity to experience Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited at no cost at all with a special free sampling of 250 titles! The free sampling program includes a healthy mix of both epic classics and current favorites.

In this mode, viewers will be presented with an unequaled experience as they are taken panel-by-panel through the comic book in a smooth, action-packed progression.
