Death is the most evitable fact of life, perhaps a hard but true fact of life is death. And here’s an internet site dubbed ‘Death Clock’ that helps you realize that fact further.

Advertising itself as the Web’s ‘friendly reminder that life is slipping away’, deathclock.com lets you input your age, gender, weight and whether you smoke or not and then ‘calculates’ how long you’ve got to live in a bid to raise health awareness.

It further adds: “Like the hourglass of the Net, the Death Clock will remind you just how short life is.”

The site maintains that the clock is not scientific.

The site states that: “This is not supposed to be a life insurance site or a census bureau outfit. This is a game, folks. Nothing more, nothing less.”

The site also has a section where it speaks about the way renowned celebs have died.

Interestingly, Death Clock also runs obituaries of celebrities who are still alive. One of the most popular is for pop star Britney Spears.
