TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone from Amex Digital Corp On March 3, Amex Digital Corporation announced the launch of its 2-in-1 cordless Internet telephone, TSP-VS501. This sleek, cordless telephone has a remarkable addition in the form of an extra button that enables free Internet calls.

The TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone uses a USB connection to a standard PC with softphone. This sleek phone works with Skype and has been developed keeping the user in mind with regards to simplicity.

What is more, the TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone works both as an Internet telephone and a normal telephone. Incoming or outgoing calls may either be received or dialed via the normal telephone or over the Internet.

The TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone works with Skype for free Internet telephony from Skype-to-Skype and with SkypeOut for calling regular and mobile telephones worldwide at local rates. It is also possible to receive calls with Skypeln.

The TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone is very easy to connect. It has to be connected to a normal USB port on a PC and a telephone socket. One has to just insert the CD, and the software starts to install. After this, the phone becomes ready to make and receive calls using Skype, SkypeOut or the ordinary, analogue telephone line from just about anywhere in the house.

The TSP-VS501 Cordless DUALphone has a display that shows whether the user’s friends who also use Skype are online. If they are online and the user wishes to contact them, all one has to do is press the appropriate green button, after which he can talk to them for free, wherever they may be on the world. If the PC is switched off, or the user wants to call someone who doesn’t use SkypeTM, he or she simply needs to press the other green button and call via the ordinary telephone connection. It is even possible to set up simultaneous telephone calls in which case one handset uses the PSTN (ordinary telephone line) while another handset calls via SkypeTM.
