‘Minkaku’ Browser Bar introduced by GOGA

GOGA Inc. has launched the ‘Minkaku OpenSearch Plugin’ function, which links its “Minkaku” service to Firefox’s Navigation Toolbar.

“Minkaku”, introduced in November 10, 2006, is a user-content oriented database that collects information about what Firefox add-ons users have downloaded.

With the Minkaku OpenSearch Plugin, users can rapidly browse the Minkaku database for site-specific Firefox add-ons by using the Firefox Navigator Toolbar located on the upper right-hand side of the browser screen to conduct a keyword search.

In addition to Japanese, Minkaku can be viewed in English, German, Chinese, and Korean.
