PodTech Logo PodTech, the Silicon Valley-based podcasting startup has recently launched an India centric podcasting channel, which went live a few weeks ago. Apparently, PodTech is sourcing its Indian podcast content from a couple of Indian bloggers, who will contribute audio, video and textual content to them on a regular basis.

PodTech hopes to provide Indians, whether in India or abroad, with a comprehensive podcast coverage of news and views related to technology, entrepreneurship, trends on the Internet, ecocommerce and technology-related events in a podcasting format.

PodTech marketing partners include leading brands such as Intel, Seagate and SAP.

In Silicon Valley, podcasting is a veritable industry. Many podcasting startups have recently got funded and have very aggressive plans.

As of now, India is just coming up in the podcasting scene. Hopefully, this trend will catch on now that PodTech has launched an India-centric podcasting channel. An exclusive Indian Podcast channel is definately a good idea.
