Amazon Unveils ‘Amazon Connect’, the ultimate Author Blog

‘Amazon Connect’, a new feature dedicated to book authors has been launched by Amazon.com. The new feature allows authors to post blog entries that appear on book detail pages, customer accounts and author profile pages. After which Amazon users can reply to the postings, and sign up to receive updates.
In a statement Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said, “We invite authors to communicate with their readers in a way that hasn’t before been possible.” He added, “Amazon Connect brings the author’s message to the reader instead of waiting for the reader to find the message.”

I think Amazon Connect is cool because it lets you get up close with your favorite authrors, even if it’s just virtually.
