Those who managed to work out this tough one were led to a website where they encountered a “harder riddle”. Solving it led to another webpage, where they were invited to submit their curriculum vitae.This anonymous advertiser was none other that Google. The mathematics of the riddle comes from the founders of Google itself, Sergey Brin and Larry page.

Mathematical prowess is a major factor behind the success of Google. The breakthrough that made this search engine so popular was the realization that the chaos of the internet had an implicit mathematical order The search algorithms coupled with the advertising algorithms are definitely the motor that powers Google’s growth. . Not to forget, that Google has perfected the genre of pay-per-click advertising.
