Google Adsense Onsite Advertiser For Website Ad Publishers Launched
Google today introduced a new program Onsite Advertiser that gives adsense publishers the option of having an “Advertise on this Site link on the adsense ads that leads advertisers to adwords program for placing ads on that particular website. The “Advertise on this Site” shows up in an ad block, it shows up next to “Ads by Google” Link.
Ads created through Onsite Advertiser program would compete in the same auction as all other Google ads, including keyword cost-per-click (CPC) text and image ads, and site-targeted cost-per-thousand impression (CPM). Ad publishers would be entitled to a portion of the revenue. Ad publishers can customize the destination page for links with their own site logo, color scheme and description.
Adbrite and a few other other ad networks have been offering the same feature and have been quite successful with it.
