Animal lovers are sure to appreciate the latest offering from Active Media Products. The company unveils WWF Penguin USB flash drive. Along with World Wildlife Fund, AMP fashions portable USB drives in the form of endangered species. 5% of the products’ retail price goes to WWF for the welfare of animals and nature conservation.
In May, the company launched the WWF Panda drive. They now reveal the second product that will benefit the organization; a flash drive in the form of an Emperor Penguin. The device measures two and a quarter inches height-wise and is designed using PVC-free non-toxic silicone. Unlike standard drives, this storage device is devoid of harmful substances like lead and mercury.
Jerry Thomson, vice president of marketing at Active Media Products explained, “The Penguin drive is a unique product that merges form and function to make an excellent storage device. It’s a portable flash drive with character.”
He further commented, “Our contribution to WWF helps preserve the diversity and abundance of life on Earth, which is something we feel really good about.”
The WWF penguin is available in capacities ranging from 2GB to 16GB. The various models include R2G-Penguin-W 2GB, R4G-Penguin-W 4GB, R8G-Penguin-W 8GB and R16G-PENGUIN-W 16GB WWF Penguin USB Drives. The minimum contribution annually given to WWF from these innovative products is $25,000.
Both the critter-designed products namely the panda and the penguin USB flash drives can be used by customers for storage purposes. They can purchase these products through Amazon or from other retail stores situated in the US. The 8GB Penguin USB flash drive is available for $26.
