
Samsung’s latest addition to its popular ‘Touch of Colour’ line of LED monitors is the ultra-thin P2370L LED. Offering amazing display quality with vivid colors and many environment-conscious features, the novel LED monitor also boasts of a higher contrast ratio compared to most other monitors.
Delivering a 1080p full-HD experience, the display of the novel monitor adorns a transparent, crystal-like, bezel frame with blue gradation. This gives the monitor a glass-like appearance and also aids in the reduction of reflection of light consequently lowering glare.
Accessorized by a unique glass stand neck, the monitor attains a floating illusion effect. Minus any obtrusive buttons on the front or sides on the panel as also no screws or joints, the P2370L monitor also bundles in Samsung’s dual-injection technology which gives it a more smooth and finished look. The monitor also incorporates Samsung’s distinct Startlight Touch Controls in the bezel that reveal the On Screen Display (OSD) buttons.
The P2370L monitor comes in ToC’s patent design technology in a super sleek encasing that is just 16.5mm in thickness. The monitor not only saves space but also energy with its Light Emitting Diode Back Light Unit (LED BLU) that delivers many eco-friendly benefits like 30 % less power consumption.. The monitor also includes LED fluorescent lamps without any poisonous elements such as mercury and lead along with elimination of harmful paints and sprays during making.
With an improved recycling ability, the Samsung P2370L is also equipped with white LEDs, an ultra-high contrast ratio of 2M: 1, DVI-I input support and a super fast 2ms (GTG) video response time.
Starting Q1 of 2009, the Samsung P2307L LED Monitor will be available for around $399.
