Gigabyte has released its new lineup of Intel P45 chipset-based motherboards, which feature the highest quality Ultra Durable components, Ultra Cool thermal performance, Dynamic Energy Saver Advanced technology for Ultra Power Efficiency and the latest Ultra Secure features including onboard TPM and Smart Backup with Plug and Play Hardware RAID.

The new motherboards offer support for a record setting 1600MHz Front Side Bus for the latest Intel Core 2 multi-core processors, including 45nm Penryn CPUs. Moreover, by supporting either dual channel DDR3 memory up to 1900MHz (by OC), or DDR2 up to 1200MHz, Gigabyte’s P45 motherboards offer high levels of performance and maximum overclocking potential.

Further, the P45 series motherboards are equipped with ATI CrossFireXT Technology with dual PCI Express 2.0 x8 interfaces, delivering double the PCI Express bandwidth of 5 Gbit/s for the ultimate in extreme gaming performance. The latest motherboards also include a comprehensive toolkit featuring Dynamic Energy Saver Advanced, Gigabyte’s Ultra TPM, Smart Backup - Plug & Play Hardware RAID, and a host of other features that maximize performance and energy efficiency. Gigabyte further claims that the newly released products provide high levels of data security too.

Gigabyte’s newest motherboards are now available in the Indian market. The GA-EP45-DQ6 model carries the price tag of Rs. 19,500 while the EP45-DS3R is priced at Rs.12,375. Some of the other models from the Intel P45 series are GA-EP45-DS5, GA-EP45-DS4P, GA-EP45-DS3L, GA-EP45-DS4, GA-EP45-S3L, GA-EP45-DS3P and GA-EP45-DS3.
