Logitech has unveiled an innovative keyboard design that is quite different from your usual ‘straight’ keyboards. Part of the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave set which also includes a mouse, it features the unique Comfort Wave design which increases the users’ comfort without the need to relearn how to type.

In order to enhance the comfort factor, Logitech has incorporated three elements in the Cordless Desktop Wave keyboard’s ergonomic design. They are:

An innovative wave key-frame design

A U-shaped constant curve

A cushioned and contoured palm rest

Further, the Cordless Desktop Wave keyboard features conveniently placed and easy to see hot keys.

Included in the box with the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave is a cordless laser mouse besides the keyboard with the Comfort Wave Design.

Thus, you can also expect the laser mouse to offer comfort to its users. With its ambidextrous design, the mouse also features pixel-precise laser tracking and a soft and comfortable rubber grip.

Both the cordless laser mouse and keyboard feature a battery indicator that alerts users when the battery power is running low.

The Cordless Desktop Wave is compatible with both Mac and the PC. Once Logitech’s software has been installed, hot keys can be mapped to launch folders, Web pages or applications such as photo galleries and other applications.

For Windows Vista users, short keys on the keyboard activate Flip 3D as well as Windows Sidebar and gadgets.

The Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave carries a price tag of Rs.4,995 in India and comes with a warranty of 3 years.
