Transcend has released a new Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card that delivers high speed and reliability. Transcend’s Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card operates in dual-channel Ultra DMA mode 5, which is the fastest speed available for CF cards.

Moreover, the 300X CF’s interface allows the card to achieve fast read/write speeds of up to 45MB per second on an average. Hence consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording with today’s high-performance digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLR) becomes easier.

For glitch-free data communication and protection from data corruption or missing files, Transcend has made 300X CF cards equipped with an advanced ECC (Error Correction Code). The ECC automatically detects and corrects errors during data transfer.

Further, the 300X CompactFlash card fully complies with the new CF 4.1 standard.

Transcend’s Extreme Speed 300X CF cards are available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities. However, pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed.
