Kingston has announced the new 19-in-1 Media Reader, which is an external, hi-speed reader designed to support 19 of the most popular types of Flash memory cards. This product is now shipping.

This 19-in-1 reader will offer a perfect solution for transferring data between Flash cards and a computer or any other device with a USB port since it requires no adapters or power cables.

This card reader measures 3.61” x 2.71” x 0.79” and offers a data transfer speed of 480Mbps.

Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, Kingston Technology, India said, “Its compact size makes it easy to carry while traveling or keeping on the desktop for quick access.”

More importantly, the Kingston 19-in-1 Media Reader comes with four built-in slots that support various card formats. It also has a unique retractable chassis that keeps inserted cards safe.

The Kingston Media Reader also houses a short, compact USB cable that is beneficial for use on-the-go with a notebook or any other portable device with a USB port. A detachable three-foot extension USB cable is also included for use at home or at the office.
