Best Buy Gifts Cards to HD DVD Buyers

Best Buy Logo Best Buy has announced to gift cards to buyers purchasing HD-DVD players or HD-DVD attachments from its U.S. stores. Any customer who has bought any such product before February 23 will be given a $50 gift card for each item.

With this decision, Best Buy is expected to distribute cards valuing more than $10 million in the U.S.

Customers to be rewarded will be found out through its Reward Zone program, performance service plans and through online purchases. The gift cards will be mailed to such customers by 1st May.

Also customers can approach Best Buy with their receipts or credit card information for proof of purchase.

Moreover, Best Buy has organized an online trade-in center for those customers who are keen in getting rid of their HD-DVD players. This trade-in center will start from 21st March.

    Do not walk into to a Best Buy with your receipt for this. They will all look at you like you’re crazy and then finally tell you to call Customer Service at 888-Bestbuy. Just FYI.
