Nyko Intercooler TS

The E3 Media and Business Summit saw the release details of Intercooler TS, the latest in line of the Nyko Technologies’ game console cooling devices. The gaming peripherals manufacturing company is offering the Intercooler TS for Xbox 360 and PS3 gaming consoles.

The Nyko Intercooler TS is powered by the all new and smart TempSmart technology that regulates the airflow all the way through the console after measuring the relative ambient air temperature. This ensures cooling based on environment.

Both, the Xbox as well as the PS3 version feature the TempSmart technology. The PS3 version of Intercooler TS comes with a customisable cooling option where the speed of the fans can be controlled.

The high-end cooling solution comes in an aesthetically designed sleek body and made to provide supreme gaming performance, claims Nyko. The AC power source in the cooling device is another powerful feature that maximizes Intercooler’s performance.

“After the success of the earlier Intercooler series, we wanted to offer our consumers a second cooling option for the Xbox 360, in addition to the PS3, with new features that have been in high demand”, said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies. “The intuitive TempSmart technology is sure to make the Intercooler TS popular among first-time users and loyal Intercooler fans alike.”

The Intercooler TS will be made available soon by September 2008 in both - the Xbox 360 and Playstation3 version. The Intercooler TS for PS3 is offered at an MSRP of $34.99 while the one for Xbox 360 is offered at an MSRP of $24.99.

Why would you need an intercooler for ps3? What a waste of money. Xbox 360 is a peice of junk. PS3 is going to completely destroy the 360 this year.
