Buffalo 500GB MiniStation Turbo External portable Hard Drive Buffalo Technology has launched the first 500GB MiniStation TurboUSB portable external hard drive which carries the model name HD-PS500U2. It will be available from March 2008 onwards in the European market.

This 2.5-inch hard drive is aimed at those users who want a portable device to store their innumerable amount of music, images and films. So good is the 500GB capacity, that you will be able to fill it up with 500 films.

The half a terabyte hard drive will act as a perfect backup device for laptop users.

The 500GB MiniStation TurboUSB like all the other capacities in this range is compatible with all Windows systems (2000, XP and Vista) and all Mac OS X including Leopard.
