Hewlett Packard (HP) has introduced two mono lasers called LaserJet P1505 and HP LaserJet P1505N and two multifunction lasers named HP LaserJet M2727nf and HP LaserJet M2727nfs, in the Indian market. The new additions in the company’s laser printer range are aimed SMBs and large business settings. Ranging from a price structure of Rs. 9,999/- to Rs. 55,000/-, the latest products are part of HP’s innovative Print 2.0 plan.

Ltd. said, “Through HP’s Print 2.0 strategy, we are providing SMB’s and Enterprises in the country with the most comprehensive set of printing hardware, services, solutions and tools that make it easier and more affordable for the segment to create, consume, manage and print business content in the way they want; whether in-house, online, in retail or through a print service.”

A little on the newly launched products:

HP LaserJet P1505 and HP LaserJet P1505N: These latest mono laser printers hold the distinction of being the company’s first products to exceed the speed of 20ppm – going to a print-speed of as much as 23ppm and a first-page-out time of only 6.5 seconds with HP Instant On technology. Furthermore, for the very first time in a low-end laser device, users will enjoy manageability features which are normally found in high-end LaserJet devices. This network-enabled printer incorporates intelligence built into the toner cartridge that offers alerts when toner is low and can issue daily printer usage data. The new chemically prepared toner used in HP LaserJet P1505 and HP LaserJet P1505N generates bold, crisp text and sharper images at fast speeds. In addition, the HP LaserJet P1505n is also modified to Linux platform. While the HP LaserJet P1505n is priced at Rs.14,999/-, the HP LaserJet P1505 is available for Rs. 9999/- in the Indian market.

HP LaserJet M2727 NF and HP LaserJet M2727 NFS Multifunction Printer (MFP): These new full-featured MFPs are perfect for small business and enterprise segment with unmanaged IT environments. It features built-in networking, duplex printing, network ready scanning/ faxing along with a print speed of 27ppm. It incorporates HP’s Instant On technology which enhances productivity by delivering the first page in as less as 8.5 seconds from PowerSave mode and also saves the time that is usually wasted waiting for the copier to warm-up. In addition, the HP LaserJet M2727 MFP series also includes a Scan-To function, through which users can scan a document and email it directly from the printer. While the HP LaserJet M2727NF is priced at Rs. 45,000/-, the M2727NFS comes with a price tag of Rs. 55,000/-.
