Gigabyte has introduced a graphics accelerator named GV-NX98X512H-B, in India. The latest graphics accelerator is equipped with NVIDIA’s latest GeForce 9800 GTX graphics processor.

The GV-NX98X512H-B supports Nvidia’s HybridPowerT technology and offers users the ability to switch processing power from the GeForce 9800 GTX graphics card to the motherboard GeForce GPU when running non graphically-intensive applications, for a silent, low power PC experience. Also the GV-NX98X512H-B allows better performance scaling via 3-way AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering), and delivers a rock solid state-of-the-art driver support for the smoothest level of performance under Windows Vista.

Also the GV-NX98X512H-B features Nvidia’s the latest advanced technologies like GigaThread that through the use of a massively multi-threaded architecture, is able to create thousands of independent, simultaneous threads, providing extreme processing efficiency for advanced, next generation shader programs.

The Gigabyte GV-NX98X512H-B also supports Nvidia’s Quantum Effects technology, which enables new level of physics effects to be simulated and rendered on the GPU. The Lumenex engine is also incorporated within the GV-NX98X512H-B with 16x Anti-aliasing and 128-bit floating point High-Dynamic-Range (HDR), for ultra realistic rendering of lighting effects.

The adoption of Nvidia Extreme High Definition (XHD) enhances graphics resolution delivering latest video output interfaces, including Dual Dual-Link DVI, for the highest dual 2560X1600 screen resolution.

Gigabyte GV-NX98X512H-B is now available in the Indian market at the price of Rs.21, 675.
