Samsung PAVV 650 HDTV

Last month, we reported about the Samsung PAVV Cannes 450 Plasma 3D HDTV. Now, news has arrived that the company is adding more TVs to this product line. Known as the Samsung PAVV 650 series, it comprises three full high-definition TVs in 40-, 46- and 52-inches. These HDTVs focus on design, color and eco-friendliness.

These HDTVs integrate a new LCD panel which has been dubbed as the “Crystal Rose” design technology. It brings out a natural combination of black and rose colors inside transparent slim bezels.

Yet another feature of the Samsung PAVV 650 HDTVs is that they lack volatile organic compounds. This is because Samsung has adopted eco-friendly technology to bring out the colors on the surface, which results in them being recycled.

The Samsung PAVV 650 HDTVs are 1020Hz full HDTV which means that they can transmit 120 copies of full-HD image per second.

A Samsung spokesperson was quoted as saying, “These products remind a `crystal artifact’ due to the wider adoption of cutting-edge technology, while using other technologies such as `speed backlight’ and `wide color control’ to realize clear and deep viewing.”

The Samsung PAVV 650 HDTVs will come out in the Korean market by April-end 2008.
