Netgear Technologies India has launched the Netgear ProSafe Stackable Smart Switch FS728TS for small and growing companies. This Switch comes with 24 or 48 10/100 ports and four Gigabit ports.

The Netgear ProSafe Stackable Smart Switch also comes with up to 24 ports of Power over Ethernet, making these switches perfect for use of wireless access points, VoIP phones and surveillance cameras.

The Web browser interface offers the Smart Switch management, making it really easy to snap to monitor stack performance, configure ports, even set up port trunks, VLANS and traffic prioritization.

The ProSafe Stackable Smart Switches also expand on the current ProSafe Smart Switch feature set by adding 801.x security, SNMP v2c and v3 support, logging, rate limiting and Layer 3 prioritization.

The versatile FS728TS allows users to expand the network as they grow their business, adding switches to the stack as they need them. The switches Gigabit ports provide high-speed connectivity as soon as users add more servers, or link in power users.

The new ProSafe Stackable Smart Switch FS728TS is easy to use and is optimized for ProSafe Network Management Software (NMS100) and works with other SNMP-based management software.
