New, affordable Iomega Home Network Hard Drive Line introduced
Iomega Corporation an established leader in network storage and data protection has introduced a new line of network hard drives called the Iomega Home Network Hard Drives.
The Iomega Home Network Hard Drives are available in 320GB, 360GB and 500GB models making it possible for the first time to share network storage for home users.

All three Iomega Home Network Drives feature 7200 RPM SARA-II hard drives with 8MB cache. Their network capabilities are based on 10/100 Ethernet technology.
Setting up an Iomega Home Network Hard Drive is a breeze as one has to just connect the included Ethernet cable to an available network port on the home router and the run the included Discovery Tool Home utility for Windows on each PC.
Once you have set up the Iomega Home Network Hard Drive and the network is operating, the device can save files from up to four networked PC or Mac computers for easy file sharing.
The 320GB, 360GB and 500GB Iomega Home Network Hard Drives come bundled with a USB 2.0 port for use with a single computer. This makes the Iomega Home Network Hard Drive an external hard drive that can be used for extra storage.
The Iomega Home Network Hard Drives are compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, XP Home/XP Professional/ XP Professional x64; Windows Vista Home Basic/ Premium/ Business/ Ultimate; Mac OS X 10.2.7 or higher; and Linux distributions including Redhat 9, Mandrake 10, Debian 3.0, Gentoo and FedoraCore 3.
The 320GB and 500GB Iomega Home Network Hard Drives are immediately available for a price of $149 and $199 respectively.
The 360GB Iomega Home Network Hard Drive will be available in late September 2007 for a price of $149.
