Transcend has just announced the release of its JetRam 1GB/2GB memory kit of high-speed DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM. Transcend’s JetRam memory module seems to be a great option for Windows Vista memory upgrade. Read on to find out more about these modules.

Measuring just 1.18-inches in height, the Transcend dual channel memory kit is able to enhance the overall performance of a desktop computer that run on chipsets such as Intel’s Pentium D, Core 2 and Core 2 Duo series, AMD’s AM2 Sempron, Athlon 64 and Athlon 64×2 series solutions.

The new JetRam 1GB/2GB DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered kits from Transcend have been engineered using DDR2 FBGA chips. The six-layer PCBs used in these modules are designed to meet JEDEC standard by minimizing noise and enhancing overall performance. In addition, DDR2 memory chips incorporate On-Die Termination (ODT) to minimize signal reflections at higher speeds, thereby improving timing margins, which increase operating speeds.
