Today, ViewSonic announced the launch of a new 19-inch LCD Monitor, the VX1940W. It happens to be the world’s first LCD monitor to combine ultra-fast 2ms response time (grey-to-grey), wide screen format, super high resolution of 1,680×1,050 and Dynamic Contrast Ratio.

The newly introduced ViewSonic VX1940W has been designed especially for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts who desire a viewing experience that is free of distortion and in the best possible quality.

The ViewSonic VX940W LCD Monitor offers multiple inputs, wide viewing angles, high brightness and 2 millisecond response time. More importantly, this LCD monitor offers a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of up to 3000:1.

The DCR technology adjusts black levels based on screen content, allowing for darker black levels and a higher contrast, as well as a significant reduction of light leakage on darker screens, especially when viewed from the side.

The ViewSonic VX1940W LCD Monitor is one of the first models offered by the company from its latest VX40 series. The VX1940W LCD Monitor will be available in India by the end of 2007.
