Acer India has announced the launch of its ‘super value’ Acer Power Entra 451 desktop PC for an affordable price. With this ‘have-it-all’ PC, Acer aims to bring affordable desktop computing and the latest technology to the entry level home user.

The Acer Power Entra 451 PC is based on the AMD Athlon 64 bit Desktop Processor. It is fully equipped with the AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (2.2GHz, 512KB L2 cache, 2000MHz FSB) for increased power and performance.

The Acer Power Entra 451 desktop PC has a system memory of 256MB DDR2 RAM that can be upgraded to 4GB. This PC also features an 80GB SATA Hard Disk Drive at 7200 RPM, offering a high storage capacity.

The new Entra 451 PC has a 52x CD-RW, DVD-R (Combo Drive) for burning CDs and to view VCDs, DVDs and to listen to music. This desktop PC also comes with 6 USB ports, out of which two are located in the front.

The Acer Power Entra 451 desktop PC has a 15-inch black CRT monitor that offers good resolution as well as a matching look to the black keyboard. A choice of either a silver of black optical mouse is provided. Lastly, this desktop PC uses the Linux operating system.

The ‘super value’ Acer Power Entra 451 desktop PC is available at a price of just Rs.13,799 in India. This PC comes with a 1-year onsite warranty.
