Linksys Business Series WRVS4400N Wireless Security Router Linksys has launched the Business Series WRVS4400N Wireless-N Gigabit Security Router with VPN in India. This router is ideal for growing businesses who require access, speed and security.

The Linksys WRVS4400N Security Router implements draft 802.11n technology (also known as Wireless-N) with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) Router that features a built-in4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch.

By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N’s “Multiple In, Multiple Out” (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate resulting in greater throughput and coverage over 802.11g.

In fact, unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that get confused by signal reflections, MIMI actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce “dead spots” in the wireless coverage area.

At the same time, Wireless-N is backward compatible with Wireless-B and –G devices.

The WRVS4400N has incorporated advanced firewall and intrusion prevention (IPS) features to secure your network from external threats, including worms, DDoS attacks and viruses.

Also, the VPN tunnels give your mobile workers a secure and user-friendly way to remain connected. Besides, the VPN ‘gateway to gateway” IPSec tunnels facilitates branch office connectivity through encrypted virtual links.

Plus, the integrated QoS feature provides consistent voice and video performance on both the wired and wireless networks. This enables the deployment of business quality VoIP and video applications.

The Linksys Business Series WRVS4400N Wireless-N Gigabit Security Router with VPN is immediately available through Linksys’ distributors namely Ingram Micro and Redington for a price of Rs.16,900.
