Genius, a Taiwan-based company has introduced its latest iPod speaker called the iTempo 800CD. This 2.1 audio system is equipped with a subwoofer, CD player, iPod dock, AM/FM tuner, USB flash disk slot and an SD/MMC card slot.

The iTempo 800CD audio system has two built-in 2-inch full-range drivers and one 4-inch woofer that delivers up to 20 watts of real RMS output power.

It’s a good thing that the Genius iTempo 800CD iPod speaker system incorporates the USB slot (USB 1.1 and 2.0) as well as an SD/MMC card slot because they allow users to playback files and show the ID3 tag on the LCD display of the system.

Moreover, the speaker’s AM/FM Tuner has 20 preset stations each, besides offering good reception quality. Other features include a clock and alarm with wake up and sleep features.

The Genius iTempo 800 CD iPod speaker also allows users to set the Music EQ (Flat, Rock, Jazz, Classic and Pop) and Self EQ (bass and Treble).

Two line-in jacks for connecting the iTempo CD800 to other audio sources make this a great choice for music enthusiasts. The speaker also has one headphone jack, offering users private listening and a line out jack. The bundled full function remote control can be used for total command.
