Buffalo Technology has introduced the all-new MiniStation and DriveStation USB hard drives complete with the Turbo USB feature in India. The MiniStation hard drive offers a capacity of 120GB, while the DriveStation drive offers a 320 GB capacity.

According to Buffalo India, the Turbo USB feature increases performance speed up to 60% faster than other USB hard drives available in the market today. The company has managed to achieve this by maximizing the efficiency of communication between plug and port.

Also, since the Turbo USB utility resides on the MiniStation and DriveStation hard drives, users are able to benefit from the speed increase when they are plugged into any PC.

The Buffalo MiniStation and DriveStation hard drives can connect to a USB port on any device including desktop PCs, notebooks or with any of the company’s Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices because of the plug-n-play USB capability.

The new MiniStation with TurboUSB is designed especially to keep vital data stored and protected while traveling from one destination to the other. Plus, the device’s Shock Resistant technology protects the user’s personal digital content or business files from damage caused by bumps, drops and turbulence.

The MiniStation USB hard drive’s wrap-around cable allows for more convenient cable management while commuting or traveling long distance, while Buffalo’s Auto-Installation technology permits immediate use. Also, the SecureLock software safeguards the drive, preventing unauthorized access.

The Buffalo DriveStation with TurboUSB is perfect for storing photos, videos, music or business files in the home or even in the office.

The DriveStation’s 72—RPM SATA drive enhances its performance, while the SecureLock software protects critical files in case of loss or attempted theft.

A great feature of the Buffalo DriveStation USB hard drive is its Shutdown Scheduling feature as it conserves energy on the device and saves power. And, the Auto On/Off feature automatically powers the product on or off with your PC.

The MiniStation 120GB is priced at Rs.8000, while the DriveStation SATA 320GB has a retail price of Rs.8928. Both of these hardware devices come with a minimum two-year warranty.
